Well its finally done, went out and bought a Wacom Tablet for this pic, its my submission for the Frostmourne art contest for World of Warcraft's next expansion pack. Took me 3 weeks on and off to get this bugger done, but I feel pretty good about it. I doubt any of the other entries will feature a frostwyrm, woot! *crosses his fingers*

I love the idea of that frost wyrm in the picture

That's fantastic!

The texture- armor, frost effects, and the detail are easily the best parts. I like the fur on his boots, too, but the hair (or maybe it's part of the cloak) seems only a little bit out of place because of the difference of its (I'm not sure if this is the proper term) definition (?) as opposed to the character and his outlining. The background is very well done- A lot of people have trouble lessening the impact of negative space, but you did it perfectly.

Also, I'm making this my desktop wallpaper~

Ya I'm still trying out various techniques with photoshop, this pic was my first experience with a wacom tablet as well. The hair and fur were added in after some initial coloring, my next goal is to find a way to hide the outlines, I wanted this to look like a painting but I guess I still have a ways to go before I figure how to keep the lines less visible. It is the only the that bugs me about it, but its not enough to for me to hold it against myself, I love what I did here, and if anything I see what I need to improve on. Desktop worthy? Thats a pretty cool honor!
I kind of like the outline, but if you were going for a more painted look, that's understandable. First Wacom experience, huh? Not bad... I've never been able to use those things to their full advantage.
